1/25/2024 0 Comments The watcher slay the spire![]() Infinites decks can be quite fragile actually. ![]() Honestly infinites are cheesy, and when they work, they are unbeatable, but hear me out, they aren't the strongest decks. But i'd define an optimal strategy as one that gets you the highest winrate possible, and it simply isn't "trying to do the same deck every runs". In that case yeah it would look like bruteforcing an infinite each run is an optimal strategy. If you skip every common attacks on Act 1 and die to Lagavulin or even a regular encounter because you wanted to only add good cards instead of cards you need right now is very likely to get you killed. Have you considered that the other strategies aren't unreliable, but you aren't making proper use of them? Besides, if you think having a strategy is seeking out a particular deck you want, then you're already starting with a massive handicap. ![]() And if I get a combo piece, it's good enough on its own to pick even if I don't get the full combo. My point is that no matter what strategy I go for, it's pretty much always desirable to start out by removing as much of the starting deck as possible, and not pick anything that isn't exceptionally good until you see what relics you get. After all, you can always get screwed every now and then. But I lose more games if I go for literally any other strategy. 引用自 f98alda:Yes, I do lose quite a few games when I don't get the combo. Is it intentional to be this easy to go infinite? Even with just twelve cards in a turn, you dish out quite enough to kill it in a few turns. I've found no real reason to go for any other strategy with the watcher, since it is so easy to go infinite.Īnd before you say "what about the time eater?", I regularly beat it as well with this strategy. Also, the combo does not rely on any relics at all (though there are a couple that can help). Note that all the steps to reach this combo are useful on their own. Now you just need to have few enough cards to get them all in hand at once, and you can play eruption and fear no evil alternating as long as you have an attacking enemy to target with fear no evil. There is one strategy that IMO outshines all others, with four simple components:ġ) Get rid of as many cards as possible, which you want to do anywayĢ) Get a Rushdown (so you draw cards on entering wrath)ģ) Get a Fear no Evil (so you can enter calm for 1 energy) I've found the watcher ridiculous to play with.
